Green in The Workshop

Here are some of the things that we do to keep our planet green.

1. We print on recycled paper, i.e., copy machines and printers
2. All of our sawdust is donated to area horse farmers to be used for livestock bedding.
3. Scrap wood is converted to heat
4. Many of the finishing products that we use are water soluable
5. Finishing rags are cleaned and reused.
6. We work four 10 hour days instead of five 8 hour days.
7. We do not use wood from endangered forests.
8. We use only North American wood from managed forests.
9. Our facility thermostats are programmed and locked within tamper-proof thermostat guards.
10. Packing materials consist of anything reusable such as cardboard and newspaper.
11. We do not use melamine or MDF which contains formaldehyde.
