Finishing

The first thing that you see and touch is our finish. It is like none other. It has the same cherished patina of a great antique that has been handed down from one generation to another.

Our finish is extremely durable, able to withstand normal daily wear and tear. Unlike other finishes, ours is resistant to water and many household chemicals. As an example, water, baby oil, and fingernail polish remover will not damage our finish - even when left on the table for 24 hours! At the same time it brilliantly shows off the beautiful natural grain of the wood.

Equally authentic is our painted finish. It is the crowning jewel of painted finishes. Historically accurate and true American colors on top of unique furniture designs make it a must have. Every home should have at least one of our painted pieces.
