Distressed Paint Finishes
One type of paint finish does not fit all. While your colonial salt box has it's own particular look, so does the beach house. For this reason, we have created several very special painted finishes to harmonize well with a variety of settings. Each is described below.

This finish has the paint worn through in just the right places. This finish can be done in combination with our "light antique paint". |
This finish shows minor wear. Primarily, the edges are worn down a bit. Other characteristics include light nicks. This finish can be done in combination with our "worn paint". |
Vintage is our museum quality finish where layers and texture are obvious. It is an impressive show of wear and age, characterized with distress markings such as nicks, dings, and small scratches. |
Our primitive paint is the ultimate in primitive finishes. This is an EXTREMELY WORN DOWN painted finish. It is highly distressed and aged. It looks as though it's been outdoors in the weather for many years. |
