Our crackle finishes are like a journey down memory lane.
As finished surfaces age the paint and or varnish can crack. The randomness of natural crackling creates old world charm. Like that old cupboard from your local antique shop, natural crackle finishes can be love at first site.

Antiqued Crackle Paint This is an aged crackled finish that shows heavy wear throughout. The crackling is random in that both, the size and location of the cracks can vary greatly. We further enhance this type of crackle with additional antiquing. Shown as Black over Autumn Stain. |

Classic Crackle Paint This crackle is slightly worn along the edges and has small cracks. It is has refined appearance when compared to our Antique Crackle Paint. It has a leather-like texture. Shown here as Black over Winter Red. |

Crackle Stain Like paint, varnish finishes can crack too. Our Crackle stain is not painted, but still has crackling on the surface. The cracks are much like crazing found in pottery. |
